Lomi Delivery – Weekly Operations Plan (Pre-Launch Phase) Prepared by: Operations Manager (Haymanot Gebeyehu) Week: March 20 - 27 Objective: Prepare operational, technical, and partner readiness for pilot launch 1. Weekly Objective The primary objective of this week is to ensure that all operational components of Lomi Delivery are properly prepared and aligned for the upcoming pilot launch. This includes: - Finalizing delivery equipment selection and budget - Registering and verifying cafeteria menus - Collaborating with the technical team to test system functionality - Conducting initial operational simulations 2. Roles & Responsibilities Operations Manager - Lead operational planning and execution - Register and verify cafeteria menus - Coordinate with technical and marketing teams - Oversee testing and simulation of delivery workflow Technical Team - Ensure system functionality (mobile app + Telegram bot) - Fix bugs and improve performance - Support testing and order flow validation Marketing Team - Prepare promotional content - Support cafeteria onboarding communication - Plan awareness campaigns Finance Team - Approve budgets (equipment, operations) - Track expenses - Ensure cost efficiency 3. Key Activities for the Week 3.1 Delivery Equipment Research & Budgeting Conduct market research to identify suitable delivery bags and related equipment. Tasks: - Visit suppliers and compare available delivery bags Evaluate based on: - Insulation quality - Size and capacity - Durability - Price - Document findings (photos, notes, pricing) Expected Output: - Selected supplier - Finalized cost per unit - Total budget estimation for 6 delivery bags 3.2 Cafeteria Menu Registration The Operations Manager will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and registering all cafeteria menus into the system. In order to confirm the price change update and the selected cafes for the pilot lounch Tasks: - Collect menus from all selected cafeterias (target: 10) - Standardize menu format: - All cafeteria menus registered in the system - Verified and consistent menu data - No missing or incorrect entries 3.3 System Testing (In Collaboration with Technical Team) Ensure that the mobile application and Telegram bot function correctly under real usage conditions. Tasks: - Test order placement from user perspective - Verify rider notification system - Check order details accuracy - Identify bugs, delays, or system failures - Report issues to technical team Expected Output: - Documented list of system issues - Confirmed fixes and improvements - Stable and functional ordering system
